Each year, Jicama 89 brings a little extra magic to the holiday season for the learners at our three supported schools. Our annual Christmas event sees learners from Sibonile School for the Blind, Harvey Cohen Centre, and Isizwe Setjhaba SID School come together to celebrate, receive gifts, and simply enjoy being kids.
These events are made possible entirely through the generosity of our donors and partners, who sponsor gifts, refreshments, and festivities for over 500 learners. For many of these children, it is one of the highlights of their year.
